How to relieve accumulated stress in the body and restore energy flow, according to Frank Suárez

Stress doesn't always stay in the mind. In Frank Suárez's teachings, stress also leaves physical effects on the body, especially when it accumulates for a long time. Bad news, a toxic person, a constant problem, an incorrect diet, or a life full of tension can leave a burden that, over time, affects the nervous system, circulation, rest, energy, and metabolism.
Frank Suárez explained that to understand metabolism, one first had to look at the nervous system. Why? Because the autonomic central nervous system is in charge of the body and, from that perspective, it is the boss of metabolism. And if metabolism controls energy, then to restore that energy, one must understand how it is affected and how the nervous system can be helped.
The central idea is simple: the body accumulates the effects of stress, but there are also physical ways to help it release that accumulated burden.
The nervous system: the boss of metabolism
Frank Suárez taught that the nervous system has two main sides. One is the passive side, known by doctors as parasympathetic. This side is related to relaxing, healing, sleeping well, rebuilding the body, getting romantic, and allowing natural functions of the organism.
The other side is the excited nervous system, known as sympathetic. This side is related to fighting or fleeing, being alert, not sleeping, being stressed, having tension, back pain, or feeling sad.
In other words, the body has a side that helps repair and rest, and another side that helps react to danger, pressure, or threat. The problem arises when the body stays on the excited side for too long.
A person can get used to living in a state of alert. They may believe that being tense, sleeping poorly, having pain, or feeling exhausted is "normal." But from Frank's teaching, that is not just an isolated annoyance. It is a sign that the body is carrying the effects of stress.
Stress comes in many forms, but its effects accumulate
Frank Suárez explained that there are many forms of stress. Stress is not just worrying or having negative thoughts. It can also come from situations, emotions, people, problems, bad news, or even eating incorrectly.
When a person has a bad time, they may feel their neck stiffen or their back hurt. If they receive bad news, their blood pressure may rise. If they live surrounded by criticism or tension, that can also leave effects on the body.
The key is to understand that stress does not automatically disappear just because the moment has passed. As Frank explained, stress accumulates.
He used a very simple comparison: the nervous system functions like electrical wiring. Through these nerve channels, electrical current flows from the brain to different parts of the body. This current carries orders and signals.
But when there is too much stress, too much current flows. And when too much current passes through an electrical cable, resistance increases, it heats up, and it can burn out. Something similar happens in the body: too much load can create tension, knots, muscle contractions, and block the normal flow.
That's why a person can feel knots in their back or accumulated tension. It's not just "tiredness." In this teaching, it is accumulated energy in the nervous system.
Knots of tension and accumulated current
Frank explained that each stressful situation causes a reaction in the brain and nervous system. That reaction produces current. When that current accumulates, it can remain affecting the body.
That's why, when a person receives a massage or manages to relax, they often feel something move, loosen, or release. It's as if that accumulated current begins to flow again.
The problem is that, while that load remains, it can contract muscles, create tension, and affect normal flow. Frank described it as electrical wiring or a pipe that needs to be unclogged for energy to flow again.
From this perspective, removing accumulated stress is not just "thinking positive." You have to physically help the body release that burden.
When stress remains for years
One of Frank Suárez's important observations was that many conditions appear more frequently when a person is older because the body has accumulated stress throughout a lifetime.
He mentioned examples such as arthritis, diabetes, and cancer, connecting them with the idea of an accumulation of stress in the nervous system. His point was not to present stress as a superficial explanation, but to teach that the body receives blows, losses, problems, and situations, and there comes a time when that accumulated burden begins to affect its functioning.
Life hits hard. There are losses, worries, tensions, and difficult experiences. The body, according to this teaching, does not always erase these impacts on its own. It can accumulate them.
That's why Frank insisted on the importance of learning to physically remove these effects of stress.
The two ways to physically remove accumulated stress
Frank Suárez taught that, although there are many ways to avoid stress, there are two main ways to physically remove the accumulated effect of stress in the body.
The first is infrared heat.
The second is grounding.
Both have something in common: they help move, release, or discharge that accumulated current that keeps the body overloaded.
Infrared heat and thermal baths
Frank explained that heat has an effect capable of breaking current knots. To make it simpler, he used the example of a magnet. If you take a magnet and heat it, it loses its magnetism. Heat affects magnetism, and magnetism always goes hand in hand with current.
Therefore, in his teaching, infrared heat has the ability to help break those accumulated energetic knots in the body.
One of the examples he mentioned was thermal baths. He spoke of the thermal baths of Coamo, in Puerto Rico, and also of thermal baths in Tabasco and Chignahuapan, in Puebla, Mexico. He explained that many countries have thermal water areas, and that these hot waters come from volcanic zones or from the interior of the earth.
According to Frank, thermal baths are therapeutic because the heat helps open circulation and break that accumulation of tension. He mentioned that people go to them seeking help for different problems, such as sleeping better, improving circulation, lowering blood pressure, relieving arthritis, or supporting processes related to serious conditions.
The practical point is this: when the body receives that heat, especially infrared heat, a response can be activated that helps release the accumulated load and move internal flow.
An alternative when there are no thermal baths nearby
Frank also mentioned an alternative for those who don't have a thermal bath nearby: a mat with amethyst stones.
He explained that amethyst is a semi-precious stone that, when it receives current, emits infrared. The person lies on the mat and receives that infrared heat. Frank presented it as a well-known aid, mentioning the example of his mother, who was 89 going on 90 and used this resource for arthritis.
In his explanation, this type of infrared heat also activates the passive system, that is, the side of the nervous system related to rest, repair, and relaxation.
The teaching does not focus on a product, but on the principle: infrared heat can help remove accumulated load and open the body's flow.
Grounding: discharging accumulated current
The second way Frank Suárez taught to remove accumulated stress was grounding.
The idea is simple: take off your shoes and socks, and directly touch the earth, grass, lawn, or beach sand.
Frank explained that the modern problem is that many people live wearing shoes with rubber soles. Rubber insulates. This means that the accumulated current in the body has no escape.
The person continues to receive stress: bad times, problems, environmental burdens, wifi, and other forms of tension. But by being isolated from the earth, that current remains accumulated.
When the person takes off their shoes and touches the earth, that current begins to discharge. Frank suggested doing it every day for 10, 15, or 20 minutes.
From his teaching, this can produce a dramatic change because it allows the body to have an outlet for that accumulated load.
Circulation and the overloaded body
Frank related the accumulation of current to circulation. He explained that when the body fills with that load, capillaries can close, circulation is affected, and so is oxygen.
In his teaching, opening circulation is vital because the body needs flow, oxygen, and energy to function better. That's why both infrared heat and grounding are presented as ways to help "unclog" the body's electrical wiring.
He also mentioned a before and after image of grounding, where it was seen how circulation increased after 15 minutes. For Frank, this showed the physical impact of a practice as simple as touching the earth with bare feet.
Restore flow to regain energy
Accumulated stress is no small matter. In Frank Suárez's teachings, it can affect the nervous system, tense muscles, block flow, disrupt rest, affect blood pressure, and reduce the body's energy.
But the solution begins with knowledge. First, understand that the nervous system directs metabolism. Second, recognize that stress accumulates. Third, learn that the body needs physical ways to discharge that load.
Infrared heat and grounding are two simple tools within this teaching. One helps break current knots through heat. The other helps discharge accumulated current by connecting the body directly to the earth.
The lesson is clear: the body is alive, it responds, it accumulates, and it can also release. When the body is helped to release the burden of stress, it is allowed to flow better again, rest better, and regain some of the energy that stress had taken away.
Because, as Frank Suárez taught, the truth always triumphs.
