To lose weight, you need to know the offending foods
Food: a simple word that encompasses millions of meals that serve as the foundation of the body and of life itself.
You’ve probably heard the saying: “you are what you eat,” and it’s very true.
The more junk food you eat, the weaker your metabolism will be; the more nutritious foods you include in your diet, the stronger your metabolism and the healthier your body will be.
Giving your body and metabolism the right foods they need to function well is the key to good performance, and although in general we all have some idea of which foods are nutritious and which are not, that doesn’t mean that what is good for some is good for everyone.
Do you know what we’re talking about?
If you were a little confused by the previous point, we want to explain something that we’d really like you to learn:
“not all healthy foods are healthy for everyone.
Why is that?
Next, we’ll tell you about one of the biggest discoveries we made in NaturalSilm® and one of the reasons why the metabolism of thousands of people was impaired without being able to pinpoint exactly how to fix it
It’s the offending foods!
Offending foods are those meals that raise people’s glucose to abnormal levels.
Unfortunately, an offending food can be anything, and it’s different for everyone; that is, what affects some people may not affect others.
If there’s one thing we’ve observed over the years, it’s that the three foods that affect people the most are what we call TAM:
- Wheat
- Rice
- Corn
The TAM belongs to the refined carbohydrate family and, like all foods in this family, its main characteristic is that it disrupts the body’s glucose levels.
However, don’t be swayed by the claim that only TAM causes problems; even some people are affected by vegetables like spinach, and even by proteins like meat and shrimp.
As we told you, every person has their own offending foods!
How do you identify them?
At NaturalSlim® we have a series of steps that we’ll present below, and the main thing is to guide yourself with help from an indispensable tool without which it would be impossible to detect them: a glucose meter!
Here are the steps to follow:
1. If you suspect a food, always trust your intuition, because as we told you, we are all different and what affects you may not affect other people
2. Check your glucose before eating any food, and it should be around 80 mg/dl
3. Eat that food you suspect affects you
4. Wait 2 hours
5. Check your glucose again with the glucose meter: if the readings are between 110 and 120 mg/dl, this will mean that that food affects you.
So far, the best way to identify an offending food is with the help of a glucose meter and, as we explained before, to measure it 2 hours after eating it, since those are the data our research has shown.
These types of foods can raise or lower glucose excessively, causing changes in insulin production that can affect your metabolism and thyroid gland.
Identifying them is undoubtedly a fundamental part of achieving an effective weight-loss process and regulating your body’s levels.
Magnesium citrate supplements could be of great as our MagicMag® and even better, complement it with Kadsorb® since both minerals make up our Dynamic Duo.
It’s very easy and it’s a technique that, to carry it out, you can count on help from a Certified NaturalSlim® Metabolism Consultant!
Now that you know everything about offending foods, start your search, eliminate them as soon as possible, and regain your metabolism by implementing techniques that are truly helpful!
